Linked English and Norwegian verbs?

English and Norwegian share many of the same Old Norse linguistic roots.
This means that their most common, everyday verbs often look, sound, and function similarly. While the vast majority of English verbs follow a regular pattern, the twenty most common are irregular, including:
  1. To have / Å ha
  2. To be / Å være
  3. To go / Å gå
  4. To come / Å komme
  5. To say / Å si
  6. To see / Å se
